WarnerMedia made some major announcements regarding HBO Max at an investors event, unveiling series based on Green Lantern and Adam Strange, as well as some other DC content. However, there was one announcement they did not make that left social media ablaze with comments.

#ReleaseTheSnyderCut supporters took to Twitter during the HBO Max event to make their voices heard. While HBO Max was live-tweeting updates, Twitter users flooded the dozens of HBO Tweets with hundreds of comments, memes and GIFs related to Zack Snyder's uncut version of Justice League. Fans have been asking for the Snyder Cut ever since Justice League opened in theaters, demanding to see the director's original take on the film before he had to step away and the studio got involved.

No plans for the Snyder Cut's release have been announced at this time.

Justice League is available digitally and on Blu-ray and DVD. The film stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K.
