As production continues on Arrow's eighth and final season, Colton Haynes' return as Roy Harper has been confirmed through new set photos from the CW series.
As principal photography on the upcoming season's seventh episode, ominously titled "Purgatory," wrapped, Haynes was seen traveling from the set in what appears to be a sequence set in the Arrowverse's relative present, as opposed to the character's appearances throughout Season 7 in a possible, dystopian future.
Haynes appeared during early seasons of Arrow, serving as a sidekick to Oliver Queen and a love interest to his younger half-sister Thea. Moving into a recurring role in later seasons, Haynes returned as a series regular in Season 7 as an older version of his character.
After the seventh season, Haynes confirmed he would not return as a series regular for the CW series' final season, but hinted he would return in an undisclosed capacity.
Returning Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Rick Gonzalez as Wild Dog, Juliana Harkavy as Black Canary, Katie Cassidy as Black Siren, Katherine McNamara as Mia Smoak, Joseph David-Jones as Connor Hawke and Ben Lewis as William Clayton-Queen.
