While Marvel Television's live-action programming may be showing signs of winding down, the production company is continuing to produce the Hulu original series Runaways, with the series returning for its third season this December.
Hulu has released the first official poster for Season 3, which shows the eponymous young team assembled together as viewed through Nico's staff. This season, the team will face off against main antagonist Morgan le Fay.
Portrayed by Elizabeth Hurley, le Fay is an Arthurian sorceress who can use her mastery of the dark arts to travel through time and space to oppose the heroes of the Marvel Universe. Details on the upcoming season and le Fay's larger role in it are currently under wraps, but her involvement hints the team will be facing the supernatural.
The acclaimed Hulu original series will also feature a crossover between its fellow Marvel Television live-action series Cloak & Dagger, with the superheroes from the Freeform series traveling to Los Angeles to assist the team in an unknown capacity.
Streaming now on Hulu, Marvel’s Runaways stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, Angel Parker, Ryan Sans, Annie Wersching, Kip Pardue, Ever Carradine, James Marsters, Brigid Brannagh, Kevin Weisman, Brittany Ishibashi and James Yaegashi. The series returns for its third season on Dec. 13, with all 10 episodes of the season released simultaneously.
