Brandi Rhodes Stays On-Brand for AEW/DC Partnership | CBR

Brandi Rhodes -- Chief Brand Officer of All Elite Wrestling -- joins the "Supervillain Weekend" collaboration between up-and-coming professional wrestling promotion and DC Comics in a new piece of artwork.

A wrestler in her own right, Rhodes has previously performed for such promotions as WWE, Impact Wrestling (formerly TNA Wrestling) and Ring of Honor. As AEW's CBO, Rhodes now serves as one of the new promotion's key executives. She joins husband Cody Rhodes, who serves as co-Executive Vice President.

Shared on the official All Elite Wrestling on TNT Twitter account, Rhodes' DC Comics artwork is provided by Jorge Jiménez and Alejandro Sánchez. She is seen standing confidently, hands on her hips, with her AEW company title behind her. True to said title, the post's captions simply reads, "On-Brand."

In addition to Rhodes, several AEW wrestler have already gotten DC Comics artwork in their dedication as part of the collab, including The Young Bucks"Hangman" Adam Page, Nyla Rose, Jungle Express, Awesome Kong, Jon Moxley and reigning AEW World Champion Chris Jericho.

AEW recently announced its Wednesday night, two-hour program will be called Dynamite. It will air in a head-to-head ratings competition against WWE's NXT, which has moved from the WWE Network streaming service to USA Network. Dynamite's debut will mark the return of professional wrestling to the TNT network, which was once the home of WCW Monday Nitro, prior to World Championship Wrestling closing its doors in 2001.
