At this year's D23 Expo in Anaheim, Marvel Studios announced that the fan-favorite superhero Moon Knight would be getting his own television series on Disney+ while Black Knight would appear in next year's Eternals, portrayed by Kit Harington.

In what appears to be a bit of unintended corporate synergy, Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski has since confirmed that both characters would figure prominently in the comic book publishing line in the near future. Black Knight is slated to appear in this October's Punisher Kill Krew #3, with additional plans for the character in 2020, while Moon Knight is to make his return in an unknown capacity this December.

Created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin for 1975's Werewolf by Night #32, Moon Knight is former mercenary Marc Spector who was resurrected by the Khonshu, the Egyptian God of Vengeance. Taking on the additional personalities of street-level figure Jake Lockley and high society socialite Steven Grant, Spector doles out brutal justice as Moon Knight. The character has starred in various series since his creation, including an acclaimed run by Warren Ellis and Declan Shalvey.

Created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema for 1968's Avengers #48, Dane Whitman is the most iconic figure to take on the mantle of Black Knight in the Marvel Universe. Wielding the mythical Ebony Blade, Whitman has served with the Avengers, Defenders and the British superhero team the MI-13. The hero made a brief appearance in the recent crossover War of the Realms, setting up his later return in Punisher Kill Krew.
