Since the first Iron Man movie was released in 2008, Marvel Studios has essentially set the gold standard for superhero films, with one important aspect being a title that's sure to grab the attention of moviegoers. However, with such great titles like Captain America: The Winter Solider and Avengers: Endgame, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has revealed the identity of his favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe movie title.
In an interview with MTV News at Comic-Con International in San Diego, Feige spoke about the future of Marvel's films. Among the questions were those regarding the upcoming Taika Waititi-helmed Thor: Love and Thunder.
During the interview, Feige revealed that the forthcoming film's title was his favorite of the Marvel movies to date while discussing its aspects.
"It's amazing," Feige said, "it's a dream, and that title that Taika pitched us early on, and was unveiled tonight, might be my favorite title we've ever had."
Announced at Comic-Con, Thor: Love and Thunder will see Natalie Portman return to the role of Jane Foster for the first time since 2013's Thor: The Dark World, and have the character take up the mantle of Thor, similar to what happened during writer Jason Aaron's tenure on the God of Thunder's title.
Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. The film arrives in theaters on November 5, 2021.
