- After keeping quiet for a few months, Youjo Senki is back in the headlines. This time, it has debuted a new trailer for the movie after teasing with smaller visual announcements for a few months.
- The trailer below reveals various characters talking over dramatic scenes before showing Tanya shooting off in a plane exclaiming, "this is not what I was expecting!". The trailer also goes on to confirm that all of the seiyuu from the TV series will be coming back to reprise their roles.
- The series also began to debut 2 episodes from the TV series for free on nico nico douga per week starting on January 4th. The movie debuts on February 8th, 2019.
