HBO Max has been announcing its upcoming slate of series -- both originals and classics -- at a rapid pace this week, and the likes of Rick and Morty landed on the list despite its deal with the streaming giant Hulu.

According to ComicBook.com, Cartoon Network and Hulu have struck a deal that grants Hulu rights to not only the existing seasons but to the upcoming 70 episodes promised by creators as well. Furthermore, the deal grants add-free subscribers download rights to Rick and Morty episodes.

The beloved animated series is expected to be featured on both HBO Max and Hulu for the foreseeable future, but it begs the question about sustainability for both streaming providers, especially given the pace in which the seasons are released.

Nevertheless, this is good news for both Adult Swim and Hulu audiences, as well as soon-to-be HBO Max subscribers as it means that creators will be churning out new episodes for as long as the people want them. Having them available on both platforms makes accessibility the least of their problems.
