Rick and Morty Announces Season 4 Premiere Date with F-Bomb Fueled Trailer

Adult Swim dropped a surprise trailer for the fourth season of Rick and Morty late on Sunday night, revealing the premiere date of November 10th for the new season, which will be split up into installments this season. The first five episodes begin on Sunday, November 10th and presumably the back five will debut at some point in 2020.

The trailer shows a number of new characters (some of whom get their faces blown off in front of Morty) and the return of some classic characters like the Meeseeks and, of course, Mr. Poopy Butthole (who has apparently recovered enough from his near fatal shooting to be able to beat up a group of attackers using some nifty moves involving his cane as a weapon). Rick appears to have embraced magic, as well, this season, with dragons and a wonderful Doctor Strange joke about Rick's lab coat becoming a rip off of Doctor Strange's Cloak of Levitation.

The whole package is fueled by a plethora of f-bombs and some cagey references to just how long it has been since Season 3 ended in 2017. The show has been renewed for enough episodes that it is unlikely that there will ever be another gap quite as large as the one between Seasons 3 and 4 in the future.
