The Katee Sackhoff-led sci-fi series Another Life will be returning to Netflix for a second season.
The actor -- who also starred as Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica -- shared a short video of her and her castmates with the words "Two" and "Another Life," comprised of footage from the show. The video then cuts to Sackhoff, who says, "That’s right everyone, Another Life is officially coming back for season two."
"I have the most exciting news! Another Life is coming back for Season 2 on @Netflix!" Sackhoff tweeted. "Can’t wait to see you all back in space #AnotherLife @NXOnNetflix"
Netflix has picked up a 10-episode second season of the series from Halfire Entertainment, with production slated to begin in 2020 in Vancouver, Canada. The series, created by Aaron Martin, centers on astronaut Niko Breckinridge (played by Sackhoff) and her crew as they take part in a high-risk mission to investigate an alien artifact and find extraterrestrial intelligence.
Starring Katee Sackhoff, Justin Chatwin, Samuel Anderson, Elizabeth Ludlow, Blu Hunt, A.J. Rivera, Lin Renna, Jake Abel, JayR Tinaco and Selma Blair, Season 1 of Another Life is now available on Netflix.
