All Elite Wrestling's supervillain-themed collaboration with DC Comics continues to heat up, with Nick and Matt Jackson -- known collectively as The Young Bucks -- bringing their trademark "Superkick Party" to the world of comics in a new piece of artwork.
One of the most decorated tag teams in professional wrestling today, Nick and Matt Jackson have held titles from such promotions as New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, among others. The Young Bucks are founding members of The Elite stable, which began as a subgroup within the fabled Bullet Club, before becoming its own independent entity. The two currently serve as Executive Vice Presidents of All Elite Wrestling alongside fellow Elite members Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega.
Shared to the official All Elite Wrestling on TNT Twitter account, the new artwork of the team comes from artists Jorge Jiménez and Alejandro Sánchez. The Young Bucks are seen striking their trademark pose, with both flexing their muscles as The Elite symbol looms behind them. The post's caption reads, "Superhero Party or Superkick Party?"
The brothers Jackson join the likes of "Hangman" Adam Page, Nyla Rose, Jungle Express, Awesome Kong, Jon Moxley and AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, all of whom have already gotten their very own DC Comics artwork.
AEW recently announced its Wednesday night, two-hour program will be called Dynamite. It will air in a head-to-head ratings competition against WWE's NXT, which has moved from the WWE Network streaming service to USA Network. Dynamite's debut will mark the return of professional wrestling to the TNT network, which was once the home of WCW Monday Nitro, prior to World Championship Wrestling closing its doors in 2001.
All Elite Wrestling and DC's supervillain weekend kicks off on Friday, Sept. 27.
