All Elite Wrestling has revealed another new comic book depiction of one of its wrestlers for the current collaboration with DC Comics. This new piece of artwork features "Hangman" Adam Page.
Page is perhaps best known for his time wrestling for such promotions as New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor. Alongside Nick and Matt Jackson, aka the Young Bucks, he is a former ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion. A member of The Elite stable, Page signed with AEW back in January.
Posted to the the official All Elite Wrestling on TNT Twitter account, the artwork of Page comes courtesy of artists Howard Porter and Hi-Fi. The piece shows the wrestler living up to his cowboy gimmick, pointing towards the sky with a lasso in hand. It's caption simply reads, "Yee-F*$%in'-HAW."
Page joins his fellow AEW wrestlers who have also been given the DC treatment as part of AEW's supervillain-themed crossover event with the Burbank-based publisher. Artwork previously being released depicting the likes of Nyla Rose, Jungle Express, Awesome Kong, Jon Moxley and current AEW World Champion Chris Jericho.
AEW recently announced its Wednesday night, two-hour program will be called Dynamite. It will air in a head-to-head ratings competition against WWE's NXT, which has moved from the WWE Network streaming service to USA Network. Dynamite's debut will mark the return of professional wrestling to the TNT network, which was once the home of WCW Monday Nitro, prior to World Championship Wrestling closing its doors in 2001.
All Elite Wrestling and DC's supervillain weekend kicks off on Friday, Sept. 27.
