Vincent D'Onofrio Refuses to Give Up on a Daredevil Season 4

Last November, Netflix cancelled Daredevil alongside the streaming service's other Marvel series. Nevertheless, Vincent D'Onofrio -- who played Daredevil's archenemy the Kingpin -- refuses to give up hope for a fourth season of the series, as shown by his response to a fan's open letter to Marvel on Twitter.

On his own Twitter, D'Onofrio shared the tweet, which appeals to Marvel to revive the series. The open letter points out that, while "good entertainment has heroes you can root for and relate to," great entertainment actually gives them insight to a villain's motivations -- something the Daredevil series did in spades.

D'Onofrio merely responded to the fan's tweet by telling her, "I'm doing my best, kiddo." This once again shows D'Onofrio's support for the show's return.

D'Onofrio proved himself to be a staunch ally of the #SaveDaredevil campaign earlier this year when he voiced his support for the original Change.org petition. Series star Charlie Cox also voiced his support of the campaign on Twitter and even signed it himself.

Now available on Netflix, Marvel’s Daredevil stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Joanne Whalley as Sister Maggie, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter, Jay Ali as Rahul “Ray” Nadeem and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.
