Though DC Universe's Titans announced its Season 2 debut date at Comic-Con International in San Diego (it's September 6, if you missed it), the trailer was only screened for attendees. Today, however, the wait is over, ad Warner Bros. has released it online for everyone to watch.
After a brief recap, we get the debut of Iain Glen's Bruce Wayne and the triumphant (if foul-mouthed) return of Jason Todd's Robin declaring, "We're back, bitches!" From there, the trailer rolls into all-new footage of the team, including a few new members in Aqualad (Drew Van Acker) and Wonder Girl, played by Conor Leslie who originated the role in a Season 1 guest appearance. We also see Superboy (Joshua Orpin) interacting with the team for the first time, along with a brief glimpse of Chelsea T. Zhang as Ravager, aka Rose Wilson.
Superboy and Krypto, both of whom will be regulars in Season 2, were first seen in a post-credits teaser scene after the Titans Season 1 finale, with the Boy of Steel seen escaping a Cadmus laboratory after freeing Krypto and killing the scientists keeping them captive. Other newcomers to the series will include Esai Morales as Deathstroke, seen briefly at the end of this trailer, and Chella Man as Jericho.
Now streaming on DC Universe, Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Kory Anders, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth and Ryan Potter as Garfield Logan, with Rachel Nichols as Angela, Seamus Dever as Trigon, Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall, Curran Walters as Jason Todd and Joshua Orpin as Superboy. Season 2 arrives September 6.
