Lucifer Season 5 Premiere Title Revealed | CBR

Now that production has officially begun on the fifth and final season of Lucifer, the writers have provided a sneak peek of the upcoming Netflix series.

In a tweet from the writers room, the shooting script for the premiere episode has been revealed, along with the episode title "Really Sad Devil Guy."

After being cancelled by Fox after three seasons, Lucifer was picked up for a fourth season by Netflix, with the new episodes premiering earlier this year. A month after the Season 4 premiere, Netflix announced it had renewed the series for a fifth and final season, upping the episode order to sixteen from the previous season's ten.

Based on the Vertigo Comics character of the same name created by Neil Gaiman and Sam Kieth, Lucifer has the Prince of Darkness step down from his role ruling Hell to open his own nightclub in Los Angeles, all while solving crimes on the side.

Helmed by Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich, Lucifer’s fourth season stars Tom Ellis as the Devil, Lauren German as Det. Chloe Decker, D.B. Woodside as Amenadiel, Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin, Kevin Alejandro as Det. Dan Espinoza, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen Smith, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez and Inbar Lavi as Eve. The first four seasons are available to stream on Netflix.
