Discussion Time
Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den chapter 8 was an okay chapter this week and we have only positive things to really point out. Ann has finally met Hachimaru and of course—in typical shounen style—the two don’t seem to instantly connect. Thankfully, after some introductions, some bad looking—but good tasting—food and some words of wisdom our group seems to be more aligned with one another. Though, it looks like in the distance our evil look samurai is heading right for our new alliance and is clearly cutting through space literally to reach them! As Daruma said best, take it slowly and that is how Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den needs to be for it to work. Let’s discuss some good points about chapter 8 and why reading it is a must.
1. Ann is Cute!
Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den chapter 8 established Ann a bit better by showing she can cook but lacks a lot of self-confidence. Probably due to her clumsiness, Ann sees herself in a rather ho hum way, but Daruma can clearly see there’s more to her than meets the eye. Ann we feel might be a good addition to Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den, but we do hope she gains some confidence soon otherwise she will be a mirror image to the early Hinata from Naruto.
2. Space Samurai Approaching!
When you see a samurai in space, you’re probably already excited and full of giddiness. When you see a samurai in space cutting through asteroids like they are pieces of cardboard, you’re going to be excited. Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den chapter 8 shows our baddie quickly heading through space to reach our new samurai and his friends. A battle is quickly approaching and that will be where Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den turns either good for us or stays as is…
Final Thoughts
Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den chapter 8 wasn’t that great, but it was at least a fun chapter that had some character development…some much needed development. Ann is on the fence with us, she could be a strong female force—if Nanashi doesn’t take that role later—and that would boost our enjoyment of Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den.
