Aquarians (January 21st – February 19th) belong to the Air element of the zodiac, alongside Gemini, and Libra. This sign is ruled by Uranus, which influences Aquarians' personalities in different ways: they are eccentric people, loving all what is non-conventional. Aquarius-born are analytical, and it actually means that they live in their own world. Lost in space, they think, re-think, and over-think all the time. They daydream a lot, so much so that you could say Aquarians live on the clouds 24h per day. Even though they are shy at first, they are very energetic; Aquarians love helping others, and they are able to look at things without prejudices – that's what makes them very good friends, and very efficient problem-solvers. If it's true that Aquarians need some time alone to recharge, it's even true that they give great importance to friendship. In this article, considering what we know about Aquarians, we tried to guess what anime they would enjoy watching. So stick with us until the end to discover our picks!

1. Natsume Yuujinchou (Natsume's Book of Friends)

Our first anime is Natsume Yuujinchou, the touching story revolving around Takashi Natsume – the boy who can see the spirits. Natsume is an orphan who jumped from one relative to the other during his childhood; when he found the Book of Friends – a notebook that belonged to his long-gone grandmother Reiko – Natsume's life changes for good. Together with a powerful spirit imprisoned in the body of a maneki-neko, Natsume begins his journey bound to return their names, to those spirits written in the Book of Friends. As you can see, Natsume Yuujinchou wields all what an Aquarius may enjoy. In this anime, the theme of friendship is the very cornerstone of the entire show. What's more, Natsume Yuujinchou is episodic, and each episode has a definite ending. That's why Aquarians, who tend to get bored easily, may never get tired of Natsume Yuujinchou!

2. Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu (Parasyte -the maxim-)

[sourceLink asin="" asin_jp="" cdj_product_id="" text="Crunchyroll" url="http://www.crunchyroll.com/parasyte-the-maxim-/episode-22-quiescence-and-awakening-668323" ]

Shinichi Izumi is your average high school student, but his normal life is turned upside down when a parasite enters his body, and takes the place of his right hand. Parasites are horrible creatures that eat humans, so whenever Migi – his right hand parasite – announces to him that there's another parasite nearby, Shinichi just wants to run away. What's more, what would happen if someone should discover his secret? He may become a guinea pig, as he is the only human being coexisting with a parasite who didn't subjugate his brain! Although by the premises it doesn't look like it, Kiseijuu wields a lot of subjects that Aquarians love. Migi and Shinichi build up a non-conventional friendship made of mutual trust, and understanding; the theme of an alien race trying to survive on the Earth is debated highlighting the hardships of both, aliens and humans. What's more, Shinichi is not your typical protagonist who faces the situations head-on, on the contrary he is scared to death, therefore he is very relatable.

3. Hachimitsu to Clover (Honey and Clover)

Shinobu, Yuuta, and Takumi are college students sharing a little room without a bath. Ayumi is a sweet girl who has an unrequited love that affects her life on a daily basis. Hagumi is the last one to enter the picture, and she is a doll-like talented artist with brilliant ideas. The lives of these five people are unavoidably intertwined, and then forced to separate. Each of them will learn an important life lesson from the other, and their friendship will stay everlasting in spite of the distances. As we said up above, Aquarians tend to get bored easily. With Hachimitsu to Clover such a thing is impossible. In fact, this show is a roller-coaster of emotions, featuring very relatable characters. With a solid plot, this show portrays situations each person comes to face in their lives. But the most heartfelt topic it debates is the importance of bonds, and that's why we think an Aquarius will like it!

4. Haikyuu!!

Shouyo Hinata is a shorty who fell in love with the “Little Giant”, a volleyball ace he can identify with because of his height. The “Little Giant” represents for Hinata the proof that impossible is nothing when you work hard to realize your dreams! During middle school, some events led Hinata and Tobio Kageyama to meet as rivals on the field. Later on, the two of them meet once again, as they enroll in the same high school: the Karasuno High. It's a fated encounter, as both of them, surrounded by the other teammates, will take the Karasuno Volleyball Club to the next level! Probably we wouldn't even need to explain why Aquarians may enjoy Haikyuu!! First of it all, like any other sports anime, it's adrenaline-filled and captivating – a show that can't make the viewers bored. Then, we have a non-conventional protagonist who daydreams a lot, just like Aquarius-born people. What's more, it features the theme of friendship and camaraderie. It's just perfect for Aquarians!
